Great hiking pants

"These are a great pair of hiking pants and will suffice for most people. Couple nit-picky things: 1) the pocket zippers sometimes are difficult to get in and out of, especially when wearing a climbing harness. 2) the integrated belt can be difficult to connect and requires exact alignment. Was also told that these pants wouldn't be good for long expeditions like Denali Summit because you will lose a lot of weight and the integrated belt only has so much cinch-ability. It would be better to have external belt loops with an external belt."

Extremely comfortable and durable. Just

"Extremely comfortable and durable. Just what I was looking for. A lightweight waterproof pant. I wish they could make an insulated version"

Liked them so much, I bought another pair

"Great pant!, athletic fit! Stretchy, temp regulating, all around performer. The built in belt makes the fit that much better. I have used them for climbing, mountaineering, and trips to town with zero issues or complaints. Just buy them, you won’t be disappointed."

Good pants, nice and stretchy

"Good pants, nice and stretchy no complaints!"

Great pant

"Stretchy, good mobility. Wore on a winter hike with a baselayer, fit was great!"

Poor belt system. Other opportunities to improve

"Materials are great and overall durability is decent. The sewn integrated belt loop is obnoxious and a trend that really needs to go away. These would be 5 stars if they had a normal belt loop system that allows for removing the belt for washing and easy change of belt when the included plastic one eventually breaks. As it is now, the belt gets lost in the pants often when washing, the plastic belt buckle is cheap and doesn't hold up, and there are no advantages to this system, apart from increased cost of construction. This may seem like a small nitpick but it is a major distraction from what would otherwise be excellent pants. Lastly these are too thin/light to be called alpine pants, except for in the late spring to early fall when temps are warmer. These are more suited to a typical warm season hiking pant. Otherwise fit is as expected, size off of what you normally wear. I wont be buying this model again in its current form, especially at this price."

Some issues on design

"Quality made pants - however with some issues on design. 1. The extra small side pocket located at arms reach is the perfect size for holding your phone or wallet. Unfortunaltely it is located too low and close to the knee - therefore slaps around with each stride taken - annoying. 2. The built in belt is nice in presentation but lacks extra functionality. You cannot clip on a pocket knife, etc. A better design would be to leave the belt open in places around the waist."

Great Fit and Function

"Excellent fit and finish with very forgiving fabric to allow full range of motion."

Kilimanjaro, Vail CO, and beyond

"Love these pants! I've had my first pair for 5 years and they are still so fantastic that I decided to buy a second pair to trade out on longer trips. Absolutely love these!"
