HERITAGE THAT BEGAN WITH A BACKYARD ANVIL AND HAMMER CONTINUES TODAY
You can't tell the history of climbing and mountain sports without telling the history of Black Diamond.
If you love climbing in the Alpine Pant, you’re going to be stoked on these updates. The refined Alpine Pant improves on the old design with a better fit while still finding that perfect balance of durability and technical performance that emphasizes freedom of movement.
Designed with a four-way stretch fabric, plus reinforced ripstop around waist and front pockets, they can handle any on-route move, and their lightweight construction breathe during sweaty high-output missions. Zip front pockets and a zip thigh pocket hold the essentials while on route and a DWR finish adds peace of mind during questionable weather windows. Fine-tune the fit with cordlock adjustable hems and an easy-to-adjust integrated webbing belt.

"i wear these almost every day while climbing. if i had two pairs i would ONLY wear this pair of pants while climbing. i love the mushroom color because it fits the khaki dress code at work and i dont have to change before climbing. it is super flexible and ive never felt limited even in the highest of knees or heelhooks (and thats saying something bc im super flexible). really water resistant and breathable. the layout of the buttons is a lifesaver because i eat a lot and my waistline fluxuates day to day, so being able to choose one or two buttons to adjust the waistline is great. the phone pocket is perfectly positioned to be under the harness and not moving around a lot with my big phone (and kneebars on the right leg arent a problem). the ability to roll up the leg sleeves and cinch is great for better heel hooks. im writing this because i would get a chance to win a 100$ gift card for a review, and if i won id just buy another one of these so i dont have to wear some other unoptimal gear while its in the wash."
". . . with these pants. I've worn these pants to ride to work for many winters and they're still physically intact but I want a fresh pair for funerals, bar mitzvahs, and other semi-social events before they are discontinued"
"Wore these in the Scottish Highlands and then indoor climbing. Great freedom of movement and good durability so far."
"Love them."
