The redesigned Alpine Light Pant is a new and improved version of our best-selling mild-weather climbing pant, with four-way stretch, wear-resistant fabric.
We’ve kept the same well-liked single-weave, four-way stretch fabric, but refined the fit and updated the pocketing and belt construction. They’re light and stretchy and can be worn on multi-day wall missions, all-day routes, and adventures that take you deep into the backcountry. A DWR treatment on the fabric protects against light precip and low-profile zip pockets hold the essentials. Fit can be finetuned with cordlock adjustable hems and an easy-to-adjust integrated webbing belt.

"Light weight, so better for warmer excursions or I imagine rock climbing. The zipper pockets are great and are a nice size. Comfortable with a harness, the belt feature works well and is low profile. My go to hiking and SAR responder pants."
"Put these through a three-week Grand Canyon rafting trip—wore them nearly every day. Constantly soaked, but they dried fast and never felt heavy or clammy. Handled everything: Great sun protection, cut the wind even when wet. From bushwhacking and stream crossings to six miles hiking in the Havasu River, plus technical slot canyons—swimming potholes, wading all day—they never missed. Comfortable, breathable, and somehow stayed looking clean. After three weeks of abuse, they still look brand new. Durable, versatile, and easy to live in. "Really like these because they are really stretchy and great for climbing. What I don’t like is the front pockets, the zippers are designed in a way where putting your hands in the pockets feels horrible. They also are a little short on me. I’m 6’3” and got a size 34"
