"These shirts are an essential piece of gear. I work high in the mountains of Colorado with copious amounts of sun. These shirts prevent me from baking in the sun, breath pretty well and are surprisingly cool. They are supposed to fit a little baggy to breathe effectively. I also use these shirts during kids soccer games and long days at the beach. I prefer not to wear sunscreen, because these shirts are so perfect. I usually go with the lighter colors for obvious reasons. I have eight of these shirts. These shirts are a bit delicate in willows, brush and sharp objects, but they don't tear. The weaving just pulls out a little bit creating a little loop in the fabric. If you don't mind that if, these shirts will last for ever."

"This is the perfect sun hoodie for hiking and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest. It might be slightly too heavy if you are in warmer, desert climates but for the Cascades it is perfect. Cool enough to wear hiking on sunny days, but still cuts down on the chill a little bit on windy ridges or as the sun begins to drop. You can wear it all day. It dries quickly and does a good job of staying odor free."
