Phenomenal sun hoodie

"Bought two of these and absolutely love them! Great material, accurate fit, very comfortable. Put them through a test run climbing up in Leavenworth during a heat wave and they got the job done."

Love this sun shirt

"I originally had 1x quarter zip and 1x hoody orange liked the feel and look of the hoody and bought a second. Great on sunny days, I hate wearing sunscreen and this protects me all day. I usually wear a hat with the hoody for full protection. Feels very breezy and better than a cotton tee shirt in terms of temperature. I’m in sunny San Diego."

I liked the men’s colors

"I liked the men’s colors much more and had heard bad reviews about the pocket on the women’s so I went for the men’s and overall I like it but it fits strangely across the chest. It feels like the shoulders aren’t wide enough which is strange for a men’s fit."

Straight up

"This is one of the best pieces of gear I own. I only need to purchase another because I burnt a huge hole in the shirt with a chainsaw, if it weren’t for that mishap the shirt would still be impeccable. I’ve worn this shirt more frequently and in more varied conditions than any other the last several years. It stays cooler and dries faster than any other shirt, and it does not hold odor. Black Diamond- Please do NOT change this shirt and keep a neutral earth-tone such as the Tundra color available at all times and I will keep coming back. Funny colors are great if you do recreation sports in Utah or Colorado but natural people living natural lives in natural settings like to wear natural colors. If you want to feel one with the nature, dress like the nature."

Inexpensive and Lightweight

"The price and quality are great. The hood fits over the helmet nicely."

Richard A. (5/5)

Durable. All purpose.

"Day 1 I wore this up a hot and grueling climbers' approach trail. Day 2 I wore it crossing glaciers and then as my base layer up the climb. I figured the offwidths and chimneys would shred it but I can't even tell now that I washed it. Great base layer too."

Olivier B. (5/5)

Fantastic

"This is a fantastic hoody. It is light, cool, and acts like air conditioning in the sun. I'm a ginger and keeping my skin out of the sun is critical. I would ask the next model have looser sleeves. These are a bit tight but not in an uncomfortable way."

Herrick J. (5/5)

Really solid sun hoody. Have

"Really solid sun hoody. Have only had for about a month or so but the material feels like it will hold up without pilling. Heavier weight than I was expecting but being up in Alaska I am not complaining."

Darian H. (5/5)

Great sun shirt. Sun protection

"Great sun shirt. Sun protection without the need to reapply sunscreen. Comfortable fit and big hood that still protects your face and neck even with a hat on."

M C. (5/5)

Above Treeline Approved

"This ended up being exactly the piece I needed for summer in the alpine. It’s a great lightweight sun hoodie with UPF 40, which is clutch when you’re exposed above treeline all day. The odor-resistant treatment keeps it from getting funky even when I’m working hard and sweating. Dries fast, layers easily under a shell, and the hood fits clean under a helmet. Simple, functional, and packs down to nothing."
