What I Want
"I'm skiing the Helio88 (S/Lab Shift2 13 binding) in varied New England touring. They are great so far! Light enough for uphill, and handle mixed powder, firm ice, and everything in between. They are narrow (88 duh) so they are quick edge to edge on firm surfaces, and have enough torsional stiffness to hold an edge on ice. Not suitable for deep PowPow, but we rarely need that where I am touring. They ski similar to my Volkl Blaze 88 (set up for on-piste) but are lighter and more rigid when initiating turns at speed. I'm enjoying them. Thanks BD for another great product. The pics I have are from binding mount day and a skin up. I wish I had something skiing down to share!"
