"Great dedicated belay locker! The redesign - adding a wider section to the spine of the biner - in addition to the lower gate makes crossloading with a GriGri or Neox impossible. The wider spine prevents the belay device from sliding down and makes belaying much more comfortable and safe. The Gridlock has become my dedicated gym climbing belay locker."

"This is the fanciest carabiner I have ever owned and I’ve been happy with it. Everyone in my family now owns one. I like the bottom gate to keep it oriented properly and the notch on the top keeps a grigri in the proper spot. Action on the gate works well. My only wish is if there could somehow be a steel liner on the inside top to reduce wear and keep the rope cleaner when using an ATC"
"The thick gate locker circumference and the large ridge on the right side keeps the grigri angled upwards in the optimal direction for belaying. It's impossible for it to slip down and get stuck in the lower section. I belayed lead and toprop with no issues. Great biner, will recommend to everyone moving forward."
