Falling apart after 5 hours of use

"Used it for hiking for about 5 hours and the fabric started coming apart, their warranty said they don't cover excessive wear, bruh it was one hike and used for 5hours. Will stay away from black diamond products, poor quality, no warranties either."

Great gloves

"I immediately noticed the quality the first time I touched these gloves the leather on the palm feels very strong and durable. They are exceptionally warm, making them ideal for winter hiking and skiing. I was particularly impressed with the build quality overall. A very thoughtful feature is the soft fabric on the thumb, which is perfect for wiping your nose in cold weather."

Glissade Gloves

"Arrived promptly. Build quality is superb, They fit true to size. The lining is soft and warm. Used them on a hike last weekend and they kept my hands warm and dry hiking off trail in two feet of snow. Dexterity is great, was able to manipulate my zippers with gloves on."

Nice Gloves, Lining……………

"wonderful gloves but the lining material (not the insulation) is odd feeling. Overly synthetic. I would think BD would have addressed this."

Nice and comfy

"I love these gloves, they are warm, fit well, and comfy. I wish they came with glove leashes but that is an easy fix."

Great fit and not too bulky

"I winter hammock camp and hike a lot in the winter so I wanted something I can have to keep my hands warm in between setup and take down. I have alpaca liners that fit in these if I needed extra warmth but to be honest the moment I put my hands in these with fleece lining at 15f it was instant warmth, there is almost no waiting for them to warm up. I feel like I probably won't need the liners but the liners work good when setting up equipment though. I haven't tried them in colder temps yet but feel they can go well below the 15f temp and still be comfortable. It comes with a sample of Nikwax and applied that prior to use to the leather to ensure they stay waterproof. They are not overly bulky so you can still do the things you need to do around camp like unpacking gear without constantly taking them on and off. I like the shock cord to tighten up around your jacket. The fact it's not too long is nice. Plenty of pull points to remove and put on gloves and places to clip them to if that's your thing. Also has a soft fabric on the outside of the thumb if you need to wipe your shield too. Not sure if I'd recommend these for snowmobiling though. I haven't tried them snowmobiling. You may need some warmer gloves for that. Waterproof is nice for working in the snow. Feels fairly lightweight considering too. I live in Maine, so this fits the bill so far for the colder weather for me."
