"This is my second set of these poles. I love their light weight and ability to break down to a 3rd their size so they will fit in my pack when I am not using them. The locking mechanism has worked perfectly for me every time. They have just enough adjustability to be able to lengthen and shorten for long uphills and downhill. They have caught me a few times on hard stumbles and the mechanism has held. I would buy these again."

Best Trekking poles on the market!

"I recently purchased the black diamond persuit carbon flz trekking poles and have already put roughly 50 miles on them. on initial use i really liked the grip and feel of the cork over foam yet thats a personal preference as well. The weight and packability of them is what really stood out to me because now i can use a pole on multipitch climbing aproaches without worrying about the awkwardness of climbing with a big pole sticking out from my pack."

"I use this for about 5 hours a week. Battery life is great. I feel like I rarely have to charge it. I use it for house projects, camping, and when I service my vehicles. The different settings are great. My only problem is it can feel top heavy at times as the battery pack is in the front."
