"I had a tip break on my Distance Carbon Z poles last fall and learned that they have unique tips that were out of stock at the time. Several months later and voila, I get an email from Black Diamond that the product has been restocked. My poles will live."
"The nice thing about these tips is they “grab” vs. skate off everything you plant them on - wet roots, slick rocks, aluminum grating, rotten logs, talus, etc. The difference is like changing to skinny tires on a bike; it’s more efficient and confidence building to hike with Tech Tips."
