"I’ve used a handful of belts around this price and I think this BD belt is best in its class. The bounce is quite minimal and the folded tube is a nice detail rather than a stitched seam on the bottom. Fits a bottle, phone and nutrition pretty easily. The fabric has less stretch than most other belts so getting the right size is key."
"This belt was so small that I couldn't even get it over my thighs. Unfortunately with the return policy, it's not even worth me returning it. Thus it has become a good glute resistance band."
"This is a great item, however, I ordered the wrong size. I usually wear a men's small and women's medium, so I ordered a unisex small, and it is way too small. The measurements are for hip measurements, NOT waist measurements. I can get the belt over my hips -- just. A medium would have been a much better choice for me."
"Dot was kind of weird. Just ca t get it to work for me. Ill likely return"
"Tube-style rub belts are the best invention since…running shoes? Maybe not, but I love them and think they’re incredibly functional for such a small and simple thing. This one is “super good enough” but could be improved in a couple small ways. There is no seam or elastic binding around the bottle, which other belts usually have. A binding here would prevent the bottom from rounding, and therefore make it less prone to rolling/bouncing. I think this is a no-brainer improvement for the next iteration. I also think the pockets (or at least the front) could be ever so slightly more closed off to provide a bit more security. I haven’t had anything bounce out, but it sort of feels like something could. Or a slippery wind shell could at least start working its way out a little more easily than if it had a smaller opening. I like the two-level elastic loops for poles or a jacket. I haven’t had to use them yet, but I can see that being an improvement over the standard single layer. Is this the best belt out there? No. Even compared to similarly simple ones? I don’t think so. But it is inexpensive and does the job."
"I bought this belt specifically for an uphill trail run where I didn’t want to wear a vest or carry a handheld. This belt held a 500ml Black Diamond flask and my phone with no bounce whatsoever, even on the run back down. The trekking pole loops are super handy too."
