Engineered for long distance races and fast-paced adventures, the Gen 2 Distance 4 Hydration Vest has a running harness suspension made from stretchy, comfortable material that extends from the sides to the back panel with self-bound stretch mesh edges for ultimate comfort on the move.

An over the shoulder Z-Pole carry system can be easily deployed on the go, while high stretch side panels extend from the harness itself for an improved fit while on the move. This harness design also provides quick-access side pockets. Lighter colorways provide temperature regulation and better visibility. Dual flask pockets fi t two BD HydraPak® SoftFlasks™ - which are included with the vest - while a zippered chest pocket, lumbar and back zip security pockets and small stash pockets provide ample storage for essential supplies.

"Having never run wih a vest or hydration pack, I was worried I would obsesss over it bouncing around on the trail for 2 1/2 hours. But having run my first trail 1/2 marathon with just a water bottle and getting seriously dehydrated I promised mysef that'd have to end. To my absolute pleasure it fit snug, but not restrictive. There was enough fluid to help me pass the first aide station. Zipper pocket fits my S20, front pouches hold plnty of gel packs and calories. I can reach the back pocket to ditch and store clothes for when i inevitability wear to much on the trail. Now I wear it out for practice runs. Essential part of my long distane gear now."

Function is 10/10, color is waaay off.

"Functionality wise, awesome vest. Feels good running. I wore mine for 46 miles. It doesn't have a huge capacity and that's fine, it's right there in the description, so understand this is a solid choice if you are gonna have lots of aid station visits. Might not be best if you've got tons of miles to go without aid. The reason it's getting 3 stars from me is the color. I'm sorry but the color shown in the picture isn't even CLOSE to the actual color. The Carbon is navy blue. Like. . . just google navy blue. That's the carbon. I really wanted that lighter grey color as the picture shows. I decided to keep the vest and just use it as my "stay in the car go pack" for light runs or walks. Bummed about the color though."

Good vest

"This was my first running vest and picked BD after reading all the reviews. Really like it. Got the medium and used the size chart measurement. I was near the bottom of medium and upper of small. It has a little bounce and I have to tighten pretty much all the way for it to feel comfortable. Overall though it performs really well."
