Excellent Run Commuting Pack

"This is the second Distance 22 I've owned. First one lasted me ~2. 5 years of daily running commutes and have used it for runs as long as 13 miles. Because I run commute for the majority of my training, I've also had it on for threshold workouts and it fits great, very little bounce (or as little as could be expected). Have also managed to carry breakfast, lunch, full change of work clothes, bike helmet, phone/wallet/keys, and in the winter a down jacket added in there (front stretch pouch is great for this). Fits an iPhone 17 just fine in strap sleeve. Highly recommend!"

Great backpack for distance running.

"Great backpack for distance running. It seemed that every design feature served a purpose with no wasted space. Awesome pocket for phone, great soft flask pockets, great water bladder compatibility, ample storage space, and a great vest design for a tight and comfortable fit as you run. No bouncing at all. 10/10 backpack!"

Lightweight and very versatile

"This pack is great for longer running efforts in the mountains where additional gear is necessary. It will bounce a bit more than the smaller more snug distance packs, but this is a giant for running overnight where more layers and emergency equipment is needed. Looking forward to using this on a rim to rim hike and in Zion later this year. Haven’t hiked with it yet, but for running, it has been an excellent addition to my arsenal of smaller groups packs."

Distance 22

"Have a 15L that I wore out (after HEAVY use!), was my favorite pack ever, thought I would try the larger model. So far it's great! I love that the front of the vest actually holds a 500 ml bottle easily, and it still conforms to my back just as nicely as the old one. Great storage all around, so easy to move in. The skimo style pole holder works well, and the webbing pocket on the back is also super nice. Please make these packs forever! I'll need a new one every 5 years or so!"

Distance 22

"Excellent quality backpack, a lot of room for layers, food, etc. I used it for the crystal range traverse in Tahoe and an attempt to C2C Shasta from the north side. Capable of strapping a helmet on the outside and storing any kind of poles (I have durston ones) along with ice tools. Comfortable suspension system with no high abrasion areas like on some other vests I have used. Fabric is clearly very durable and should stand the test of time. Overall the best full vest offering for space over 12L."

So far, so excellent

"I have only used the bag once so far but I carried a bladder, two flasks, lunch, and a rain jacket on a hike with significant elevation gain. The bag was comfortable, easy to adjust and I had 0 issues the entire time. Planning on using frequently for hikes and long trail runs."
