The front snow safety pocket stores your avalanche safety kit, and an oversized insulated shoulder pocket holds a hydration tube, soft flask or radio. The pack’s form-fitting suspension provides a contoured, body-hugging fit, while the zippered back-panel access provides easy entry. Large hip-belt pockets are purpose-built to store skins for the downhill, and exterior attachment points accommodate skis, snowboards, helmet, and piolets.

"After multiple backcountry adventures and expeditions, I am very pleased with the performance of this backpack. The ski carry is one of the best I've used; it doesn't interfere with any of my movements, nor does it clip my legs or head while I'm bootpacking. The storage space is perfect for day trips into the backcountry, plenty of room for skins, layers, food, and a reservoir. The fabric beads water quite well, none of my gear was wet after a day out in wet snow. Three of my friends now plan to buy this pack after seeing its performance firsthand. Very impressive."

"I am a ski patroller. I needed a smaller pack for low country patrolling, and this pack ticks all the boxes! With that being said, I wouldn’t think twice about carrying a shovel and probe - I could fit a warm layer and a water bottle too and still have space for 1st aid kit. My only “complaint” is with myself for buying the S/M. I’m 5’10 and 190lbs, and it fits too small… but that’s not the bags fault. If it wouldn’t get me divorced, I’d order the larger size."
"I was looking for a pack that was just the right size for a day of touring. The Dawn Patrol is just the perfect size with all the right pockets. I love that the access to the main compartment is through the zippered back panel making it easy to set the bag down in snow without getting the back panel covered with snow and ice. The hip pockets are actually accessible while the pack is on and I can fit a radio in the strap pocket. All that at less than 2. 3 lbs."

"I'm 5'1 and use ski packs quite frequently. I have a hard time with the size of this pack. It has a plastic piece that extends the length of the pack to my tailbone. Also, the 25 is simply too much storage space for my liking. I also want to note that I ordered this pack in black and it smells like burning electrical wires. I have it hanging in my garage and it still smells toxic after weeks of airing out. I would return this, but I have a friend that will use it."
