"These gloves are great for belaying, rappelling and shortroping. They wear well and I have been impressed by their longevity. Rope handling is hard on gloves but these are durable. Wearing gloves for belaying and rappelling keeps your hands cleaner and is substantially safer. Being purpose built I like that they are easy to clip to my harness. Great product and a must have"
"Every time these gloves are available I pick up several pair. I use them for yard work, volunteer work on forest projects and other tasks beside using them to belay and rappel. They are a nice close fit but durability is limited. I put holes in the fingers after just a month of part time work on house or yard projects. Vedauwoo rock or something like Joshua tree granite will wear through them also before long."
