Cirque 35

"Amazing back pack this thing is legit i freaking love it its comfy and holds so much stuff its awesome."

Fantastic Ski Touring Pack

"I just spent a week ski touring with this pack in Canada. It fits all the day touring gear I need with easy access through the side zipper pocket. Easy to quickly put skis on for boot packing. Fits a short torso (5’6”) and comfortable."

Good Concept, Misses on Execution

"I really want to love this pack. I love the simplicity of the design, honestly if I could design a ski pack from the ground up it would essentially be this (probably the ultra version), but its got some big flaws for me. My pack is already getting abrasion holes from carrying my splitboard and given the description as a pack for technical objectives, I find it disappointing to see after less than a season of use. I also really don't like the ice axe attachment. The ultra version of this pack has standard axe toggles and this pack needs it too. Trying to use the two bungee system for an axe with a slight curve in the shaft, especially when using the helmet carry, just doesn't work. I ended up putting in my own rivets and toggles which work much better for me. Next the left side of the hip belt having no gear loop or pocket doesn't make sense to me. This essentially makes this side of the hip belt useless. Finally, I find the fit a bit odd. I was a M/L in the last generation of Cirque packs, which I really loved, but on this M/L the hip belt fits more on the waist than the hips than I am used to. I appreciate this change sometimes actually, like when I am wearing a harness for glacier travel and I find my hips less fatigued, but I find the load carry worse so my shoulders are taking more of the weight. I also reached out to customer service about the holes starting to form and they never got back to me."

Perfect Ski Touring Pack

"Great pack for ski touring. 35L fits pretty much everything I need for a long day out with some space left to spare. The roll top is great for managing varying sized loads. The side access zipper is a life saver for getting stuff out of the bottom quickly."

Noah C. (5/5)

Overall an amazing pack. I

"Overall an amazing pack. I love having the separate pocket for avalanche tools. The old m/l cirque fit me quite well but this new one just barely fits."

Big fan of a little pack!

"Upgraded to this from an older BD Avalung pack and am happy I did! Lots of other touring/backcountry packs have lots of zippers and bulk and I like the simple yet effective design of this pack. Central tube is easy to get in and out of, the side zip makes quick access easy as well. It is light and carry's well on the back! My only gripe is that it seems to run a little small in the torso. I am 5'7" 145lbs and the S/M rides quite high, and while I don't want the back to sit as low as my hiking pack, it still seems little too high, especially in the hip belt. Otherwise, another great pack from BD that gets the job done!"

Simon P. (5/5)

Great ski pack!

"Great ski pack for either backcountry ski or hut to hut travels. Everything is well designed (front avalanche safety gear pocket, lateral zip, rolltop, 2 small pockets and a hip pocket). Everything can be used and opened with gloves. Loops on the shoulder straps are great to fix a radio and a whistle. Got the yellow color pack, awesome design to be visible in the mountains."

Chloé D. (5/5)

Great pack but missing a couple small things

"Great simple pack. Love the fact that it has what you need without a lot of extraneous gizmos. I can’t understand why there isn’t a gear loop or second pouch on one side of the hip belt. I’d also like it if one of the pockets was a bit bigger and could accommodate goggles. These are minor issues in the greater scheme of things and I’d buy the pack again."

Bill (5/5)

Great lightweight option

"Pretty stoked on this pack so far. Love the lightweight design and storage - after packing up all my gear, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to maintain some organization. It carries well for its weight and can be tightened down to minimize sway while skiing more than other BC packs I've used. The biggest drawback to this pack is that there is only one hipbelt pocket. The only pocket is pretty small - it would be worth the additional grams to get that second pocket."

Hunter T. (5/5)

Well worth it

"Fits all safety gear, plus extra layers, helmet, plus snacks, everything I was looking for."
