This bag is elite!!

"I purchased this bag 3 weeks ago, I’ve already used it a handful of days ski touring and also on a climbing trip to Yosemite. The pack fits so comfortably, all the pockets are conveniently positioned (I love the vest style pockets!! So good for snacks and quick grab items). Also so nice to have all avi tools in the front with sleeves for the gear. Would highly recommend this bag. I got it in yellow and it’s the best!"

Love it

"I have a lot of packs. Typically in the past I would skin with a 20L or a 40L. This one fits nicely in the middle of those two. I like the separate compartments for AVI gear vs normal gear. I really like the skin pouch at the bottom of the pack and the side zip access to get to it. I was able to strap my splitboard (with bindings attached) using the pack's ski straps and it worked great."

Buckles fall and can't carry skis

"Buckles fall off constantly and you can't carry skis with it without hitting them while walking. Response from customer serivce "I understand how frustrating it is when gear isn't working as expected, especially when it comes to a core function like carrying skis!" Thanks for helping with the fact it can't do one of it's main functions"

One big issue

"Love everything about this pack, the size the roll top, compartments and storage, fit is great. There is one thing that makes me question my purchase and it’s the string straps at the base of the shoulder straps. They come loose really easy, they get tangled every time you put the pack on. Bad design on that aspect. Other than that it’s great"

Great pack

"I love the side zipper for putting away my skins or changing layers. It’s so convenient!"

"Probably closer to a 30L backpack, but extremely capable design."

Great bag

"Comfy and high performance, wish the waist strap was a bit thicker"

Almost perfect

"I wanted to love this pack, but I can't help comparing it to the outgoing cirque 22L. Don't get me wrong this is a good pack, but I find it comes up short compared to the Cirque 22L. Is the separate Avy gear compartment an improvement, yes. Is the ski carry system improved, sure. But I miss the double pockets on the vest. The zippered pockets are smaller and barely fit 500ml flasks. The vest closure system isn't as good. I find the elastic closure system on the sides loosening mid run and constantly requiring tighenying. The waist buckle is useably. I replaced this with a second sternum strap, like the 22L design had. Despite my gripes, this is still a great pack and is what I reach for most days, I just wish some of the features from the old 22L pack were included in this newer iteration."

Great pack

"I realize this is a small pack, but it holds everything I need. My only complaint is the straps, they could be more supportive. I’m not a vest user, so that may be part of it, and once I’m going I don’t notice it too much. It just seems they could make this pack with the same straps for those of us who want to drag some heavy, small items out once in a while. Sometimes those heavy small items taste really good in the backcountry."

Sizing

"Hi What is the difference between the two sizes? It is not described anywhere For a height of 6'1 which is better?"
