"This thing feels solid and protective and is very light for all its features. I use one of those foam helmets for recreational climbing, but I use this for Search and Rescue and alpine climbing just to have a larger margin of safety."
"I ended up retiring my Capitan MIPS early, because they tend to run a little small and I found it fairly uncomfortable. The forehead pads weren't very durable, or sufficient to prevent the plastic MIPS cover from rubbing against my forehead, causing chafing and discomfort. For the hefty price tag, I had hoped for a better experience. Other than that, the thing took a beating!"
"I bought this after rock fall destroyed a helmet and gave me a concussion. Luckily I haven't tested this one yet but it is thicker and warmer than other helmets, hopefully it protects your head better too!"

"Worth the money to go with the mips version. As far as the capitan helmet it vents good and is fully adjustable as well as adjustments go in helmet when not in use. Took a few rocks on this last trip and helmet held up and did as advertised."
