"I hardly ever need a tutorial or manual to get something started, but this has the worst user interface and documentation imaginable. The tutorial assumes you already have the batteries installed, the Quickstart guide says nothing about it. I’m manipulating everything as firmly as possible without breaking, it still yields no way to get the batteries installed."
"72 year old fingers CANNOT open the battery compartment. My husband ripped his thumb nail bed trying to pry it open. I couldn’t budge it. I will never buy Black Diamond again. I am considering returning it. These batteries better last 10 years because I can’t open the compartment to change them."
