"There’s a lot I love about this pack but some things I wish I could change. 1- I am 5’4 125 pounds and the small doesn’t bring the front pockets close enough so when in a tank top my arms rub the pockets. I would never have thought I was a medium but that would have been a better size choice. 2- the mesh in the front pocket has a hole after 1 use. 3- I only use bladders so the front long pocket made for a flask is really unusable for anything else because it’s hard to dig way down to get anything else out. What I love- the tracking pole pockets. The roll top enclosure and the large stash pocket in the back."
"I love this pack for day hikes in the Whites. Big enough to fit extra layers and my essentials for just in case, but small enough to be light and compact. Unlike other small running/hiking packs I own, this does not dig into my shoulders when I over stuff it. I wish it did have some strap length adjustability but it has minimal bouncing despite lack of adjustments."
"This is a very comfortable and lightweight pack that still fits 2. 5L water, jet boil, food, phone, bear spray and other essential items needed for a long day hike. The fitting is the best I’ve experienced. Make sure to get the women’s fit if you’re female and don’t even get tempted by the men’s color. The fit is definitely not something you can modify. Highly recommend for long strenuous hikes that still fit all the essentials!"
"I love this lightweight pack. It has many great features. Love the pockets in the front, there are many. Love the quick trekking pole attachments you can do while hiking and you don't have to take the backpack off. It's comfy and has good storage. The one thing I wish it had that the new season one has, is a clip for the front pocket."
"lightweight, fits well, has two spots for ice axe storage. could have more space for larger water bladder."
"As a short person with a short 40" torso this is one of the very few packs that fit me well and is comfortable to climb with. It seats high enough on my back to not get in the way of the chalk bag or harness, while the suspension system allows for fairly good body movement with minimal interruption. Highly recommended for shorter people/torsos."
"Can’t beat the storage and lightweight pack. Carries everything I needed for a 34 hour race and then some. Allowed me to move quickly through virtually any terrain. I almost forgot I had a pack on! Highly recommend."
"I have used this for my long ultra’s (125 miles plus) and will use it for my Moab 240. Fits great. Not chafe. Right amount of space especially the new one with the mesh pocket. Perfect upgrade."
"Used for a couple of days out hiking mixed with trail running for 20+ miles now so have a good feel for the pack. Overall really enjoying the packs functionality. Carried gear plus 3L of water well (~9lbs). All easy access pockets on the vest work well, super convenient. Shoulder straps are thin but have been totally comfortable. Haven’t quite figured out the quiver hiking pole storage system, when used there is a lot more excursion of the pack when running especially downhill so probably won’t use that feature, may even take off those straps to save weight."
"I already had the Distance 15 pack before there was a women's version and loved it. It is a little small for longer or cooler weather hikes so I was excited to order the Distance 22, and have not been disappointed. I didn't know it could fit better, but the women's cut is slightly different and fits like a glove. Features are great and I'll never go back to a standard backpack in this capacity range."
