"Burly design, great pack"
"The duffel is perfect for larger expeditions. It is made of very durable material and has plenty of room for everything you’ll bring."
"I have 3 stonehauler duffles, and regularly use them as my luggage. I have used them from Alaska to central America, and they have been great. The backpack straps work great and are easy to remove. The other zippered pockets are nice for stashing small items. The only signs of wear after being thrown around and used is some dirt that I haven't cleaned off the outside of the bag. I recommend using packing cubes with it. The only thing to mention with the 120L is it is long enough to hit your butt with the backpack straps, which hasn't been a problem for me."
"I bought this to travel with my free diving gear. The long fins fit well and I love the internal straps because I can cinch my clothes down around the fins to protect them in flight."
"This bag is great for longer trips. It packs well and is comfortable to carry."
"Bought to replace an older bag. Better fabric, better capacity. Best is the nifty way the backpack also functions as a double loop in a normal duffel. Best are the pulls all the way around. Great design for the internal division. Typical BDEL thoughtfulness."
"Survived being hauled around to the base camps on Aconcagua by mules with minimal damage!"
"Good bag, but for this price you expect the best. The bag itself is sold, has a few interior pockets and compression straps, but nothing that comparable bags don’t also have. The major fault with this bag is that the backpack carry straps sit so high that half the bag bangs against your thighs while carrying it. Pretty much renders the bag impossible to carry on your back. Simple design flaw essentially ruins the bag. This is likely an issue unique to the larger sizes tho."
