Parfois, tout change à une vitesse folle. Pas toujours facile de suivre le rythme et de garder l’esprit en phase avec tout ce qui se passe.
Pendant ce trip, à chaque fois que je m’attendais à du soleil, il se mettait à neiger fort. Et dès qu’on pensait qu’une tempête arrivait, le soleil pointait le bout de son nez. On a eu très peu de créneaux météo pendant notre aventure, le plus long n’a pas dépassé 2,5 jours de ciel dégagé.
C’est vraiment top pour skier dans la poudreuse profonde, mais c’est aussi risqué côté avalanches, surtout qu’on testait la neige fraîche tombée chaque jour. On a pu rester un peu plus d’un mois. On a vécu des moments intenses et parfois flippants, mais aussi des instants incroyablement fun et magnifiques.
C’est vraiment génial d’avoir l’occasion de se dépasser un peu en montagne. Ça te permet de voir ta vie et tout ce qui t’entoure sous un nouvel angle. Un immense merci à tous ceux qu’on a croisés là-haut, et à la montagne et à la communauté qui ont veillé sur nous pendant ce mois froid et intense en Alaska !
