WILL GADD
Iβve spent most of the last 40 years climbing ice, rock, alpine, sport, trad, buildings, plastic, whatever, Iβm psyched for all of it! Plus paragliding a ridiculous amount, kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, skiing alpine and nordic, and just generally enjoying the joy of moving through the mountains. Iβve also taught and shared these sports through guiding, writing, films, clinics, and hundreds of talks at mountain events and businesses around the world. I love to learn, and help others do the same.Β
My main life highlight is surviving these high-hazard sports, whether climbing a frozen Niagara Falls, paddling first descents, or flying a paramotor across the United States. Iβve won national and international titles in multiple sports, but I tend to look forward rather than back, the future is just way more interesting generally. β―Iβm currently working on a remote, serious new ice wall in Canada with multiple routes up to 1200 feet high, and thatβs been a joy. More info soon!
Try. Listen. Learn. Adapt. Do better. I try to follow these values in my life.
