Wasn't able to test the black diamond solution 1. 0 hoody in the snow quite yet, but I was able to get out in the rain. The raindrops beaded off the layer and kept me dry. Fits true to size- medium. (I am 5' 8" tall and weigh about 140lbs). The color is lovely and I've received multiple compliments already while wearing it around town and walking the dogs. Stoked to test it out while skiing this coming winter."
"I haven't been able to test it on snow yet, but I really like this jacket! So far it has been a great layer for everyday in the PNW. I wouldn't expect 3L performance from it, but it has performed admirably for a puffy when I was caught out in a couple of rain showers. The quality of the jacket is excellent, I really like the stretchy side panels running from the underside of the arm all the way through the armpit and down the side of the coat. I can see myself using this as a layer underneath my shell when resort skiing and in the backcountry. The jacket is fitted through the waist and true to size. I am 5'3", 135 lbs with an athletic build and wearing a size S, which is my typical clothing size. Black Diamond gave me this free product to try in exchange for my honest review."
