"I bought these shoes 2+ years ago as a beginning climber. They've spent many hours on the indoor walls and outdoors as I progressed from a novice to a 5. 11 climber. They're comfortable enough to wear all day on a multipitch and provide good traction on a slippery slab. I thought, as a better climber, that I should try a "better" shoe, but after trying and returning several pairs, I'm back to these again. They work, they're inexpensive, they're comfortable. What more does one need?"

They are a comfortable shoe that's not aggressive for new climbers that are getting used to footwork. Enough grip to handle good climbs though!
