The Alpenglow is soft, light and contoured to female shape while affording sufficient room to move around as needed when climbing. It seems to breathe better than my other hoody. Haven’t tried wearing for running, but looking forward to using it for other sports. Also absolutely love the coral color. It pairs so well with my Lilac Ethos pants! I am 5’4” and 118lbs and I got a Medium for layering comfort. I could probably have gotten away with an S but wanted a roomier feel."

The zippered pocket is annoying and conflicts/rubs with my pack waistbelt.
