"Just guided the NF bypass of Athabasca in very wintery conditions, relative for late June up in Canada. The tool prooved great for chopping steps in the morning while trying to avoid a transition putting on crampons. The additional pommel was great for climbing lower angle snow, the movable lower pommel, stores quickly giving the user better plunging ability.
