Ready When I Need Them!

"Just 4 days after receiving my poles I used them on a trail near Vail Pass, Colorado to see the Fall leaves We hiked 5 miles with 1400ft elevation gain. On the way up they rode along fastened to my daypack. With the small size folded and light weight I didn’t even notice them there. Heading down, earlier showers made the surface more challenging to navigate - the perfect opportunity to use my new poles!"

"These poles are great. They're very compact when folded and they fold & unfold easily. They can be quickly extended for a steep downhill stretch. My only complaint is that I can't remove the straps, but that's only a slight inconvenience. (With an earlier version of Z-pole it was easy to remove the straps. )"

Wonderful poles

"I have never had trekking poles before these. But these worked great for needs. I did have to buy a competitor bag for them, as I could not find one for black diamond poles. These will not work well if you are wanting to strap them to your hiking bag. Because they fold it makes them a little cumbersome to attach that way. At least with a kelty bag. Otherwise they work great!"

"Pole broke within the first 5km of my 75km hike and it’s likely several weeks before they “may” send replacements. For $200+ poles I expect better."
