"For ice climbing they are remarkably warm, tight fitting so working gear is easy!"
A durable, slim-fitting glove with a super-sticky palm, the Torque is the gold standard for drytooling and mixed cragging. The lightweight construction provides incredible sensitivity and dexterity for sending.
The softshell fabric protects your hands from the elements while remaining highly breathable, and the soft tricot lining adds just enough warmth for the WI5 dagger hanging above the crux. The TPU knuckle and thumb patch protects against wear and an ice tool specific, pre-curved fit provides a secure grip. Our innovative "seamless pinky" construction, where we've removed the seam on the pommel side of the pinky, increases the level of comfort when hanging on your tool.

"Great gloves! I almost forget I am weaing them. The slim profile let's the hand move with out restrictions, and the sticky palm feels good on the tools. They are not a very warm glove, but that is by design, they are geared towards dry tooling and ease of movement."
"Sticky palms! Good for approaches and touring uphill. Fit is pretty standard."
"Palms are unbelievably grippy on tools. Super nimble. Good warm temp glove"
"Warmer than you think, sticky as hell, don’t absorb water! Black diamond please do not change the design of these they are perfect"
"Only 4 starts because the durability remains to be seen. The palms are remarkably tacky providing awesome grip on an axe shaft. I've used them only a little while rock climbing and they worked very well. I wore them driving to a trailhead and had to take them off because they were so squeaky on the steering wheel, tacky indeed. They would not work on a phone screen - they fit great for climbing but are not easy on and off. So far, I like them."
"Excellent for ice climbing in warmer temperatures"

"Such a sticky glove, I even use them from time to time on cold rock climbs. These gloves are the perfect match for aggressive tools, less aggressive tools you wish you could climb harder on, and holding onto wet hardware when it counts most. I would love a bit more durability so you could rap with them, but I get that these are purpose built to stick. Maybe add some of the sticky to the Punishers or some leather at the Torque's thumb web?"
"Followed Colin's advice that these are the best gloves for alpine climbing. Extremely grippy and don't impede finger movement. Feels only slightly awkward when tieing boots, undoing lockers, and whatnot. Hands down best lightweight glove for mixed climbing, really glues your hands to the axe handles and performs well when you need to touch the rock directly. The palm is kinda fragile, don't rapel or belay with these as the rope will eat through the grippy texture (won't be doing that again)."
