"These are light weight and strong - much stronger than toys that some folks use. I use them to attach "stuff" to the runners stitched on my packs, and I always keep one on or in each of my four packs. Although I do not climb anymore, it's comforting to know that I can use them in emergency situations for rescue or for hauling heavy loads. And don't forget about the great colors."
