The airNET is a cutting-edge harness for performance sport climbing and indoor competitions that features our patented airNET Technology. This ultra-breathable fabric is designed for indoor comps and distributes loads evenly across the "net" during falls. The airNET also includes a patented Infinity Loop for belaying, which is durable, low profile, and eliminates the dreaded belay-loop-shift when dogging a route and the belay loop seam catches. At a svelte 235 grams (men's medium) the harness features two pressure-molded gear loops in the front while keeping the rear gear loops low-profile webbing to save weight and reduce bulk. Black Dynex lower and upper tie-in points are durable and light, and the seamless, taped edges of the waistbelt and leg loops proved next-to-skin comfort during intense redpoints.

Excellent Competition Harness!

"As a Team USA Paraclimber, I was looking for a low profile, non-restrictive harness that I was not going to feel while climbing this IFSC World Cup season. The Airnet Harness is exactly that, offering simple design but still giving me everything I need on the comp wall and the sport crag. Definitely my most comfortable wearing harness."

LIGHTWEIGHT BUT SOLID, OUTSTANDING QUALITY

"I am new to climbing, and my opinion may be off on this harness, but I am firmly convinced that BD is producing quality, excellent products. The materials are light, but durable. Flexible, yet sturdy. I couldnt be happier and excited to hit the walls!"

Taylor R. (5/5)

Better than my padded harness

"I was pleasantly surprised that this is more comfortable to hang in than my padded harness. Like the other reviews say, it is much more packable and easy to walk in too."

Great Harness

"Great Harness"

Amazingly light, but still comfortable!

"I climbed in it twice now, and love it for hard sport climbing when every ounce matters. Very nice and light and you forget it's there."

Andreas G. (5/5)

18 Month Review

"Used this harness about twice a week (4 hrs a week) for 18 months for indoor climbing. Very lightweight and with reasonable comfort for the cut down design. Good for indoor use ! However you will have to trade durability against low weight as I now need to replace the harness as the tie in points have worn out in that 18 month period. Maybe not unexpected given the nature of the harness but you are paying a premium price for it so bear in mind if you are looking for something that lasts a little longer."

Super compact and lightweight but not perfect

"The BD Airnet harness is amazingly compact and lightweight. It packs small which is great for travel and long approaches with lots of gear. It's not the most comfortable harness but it's not uncomfortable. My main complaints have to do with the gear loops. The front ones are set too far back to make them convenient to access quickly, and the rear ones being unprotected fabric don't seem very durable so I can't see using this for alpine or long trad routes."

Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

"Love how light this is. As comfortable as the arcteryx ones I’ve always worn."

Reed M. (5/5)

Great sport harness with 1 major caveat

"If you have read reviews on this harness, you will realize that it is a niche harness. The weight savings, compact nature, and standing comfort are amazing compared to the Solution. I often forget I even have it on. Now for the caveat. It is far less comfortable on the legs and groin when falling, or when taking a fall while belaying. Noticeably so. But in the gym and sport crag days, I think the pros far outweigh the cons."

Devon C. (5/5)

I Feel Naked

"If you want a harness that makes you feel like your landing in a Lay-Z-Boy when you fall, don’t get this one. On the bright side, you can wear this thing all day and forget that it’s on. It’s seriously light and insanely comfortable to wear!"
