"This is an amazing headlamp. I have been using it on my trail morning runs before sunrise. It performance great lighting up the trail clearly. It definitely helps me navigate uneven terrain with confidence. I am really appreciating the red-light options. I have been using this when walking my dogs. A lot of trail races have mandatory red-light headlamp areas. This will work perfectly. I am thru hiking a 230 mile trail next month. I am definitely taking this on thay trip. I want to use the red-light during my hiking in the morning and evening. This will allow me not disturb wildlife amd also help my eyes adjust. Long battery life amd also easy to recharge. All the light settings work perfectly. I have no complaints about this headlamp. Easy to adjust for a customer fit."
"Love the Cosmo. I had been looking for a lighter headlamp option with “duel fuel” capabilities, and I found it. My climbing pack is already weighed down with gear, food, water, rope, etc. and I didn’t want to add weight for more headlamp than I needed for weekends of climbing and camping, with occasionally longer excursions thrown in. Also, after getting benighted on a climb in Norway with friends who’s headlamps went dead I want the ability to have backup batteries for “must have light” adventures. It is bright enough for around camp (and includes a red LED), on the hikes in/out and to unload the car at night (without missing any items that fell under my seats!) and I never even used the brightest setting. It runs for a long time on the three included Duracell batteries, but I am going to buy the BD rechargeable Li-ion battery pack because I want the “regular” AAAs as backups for longer trips when recharging may not be easy. The two button system is easy to navigate and it easily slips onto a helmet. What else do I need?? Oh yeah, I think it's really cool that they put a latch opening tool on the headband to make it easy to pop open the case to swap batteries. I was able to do it this way with gloves on. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review."
