Follow BD Athlete Yannick Glatthard deep into the Swiss Alps as he shares his home mountains with close friends.
Winter is just around the corner, andI’m excited to take you on a journey through the mountains I call home — the place where my love for skiing and the outdoors was born. This film isn’t about the wildest tricks or the steepest lines. It's about something deeper: the pure passion for snow, the friendships that grow in the cold, and the quiet moments that make skiing so much more than a sport.
Together with filmmaker Diego Schlappi and a few close friends, we set out to capture what this winter had to offer. It wasn’t the biggest season — snow came late, storms were unpredictable, and the conditions often challenged our plans. But rather than chasing the perfect shot, we focused on enjoying every part of the process. We embraced the waiting, the wandering, and the unexpected — and through that, something genuine and beautiful began to take shape.
This is a story of searching — for snow, for meaning, and for the feeling that keeps bringing us back to the mountains. Welcome to our season in the Swiss Alps.
