"Ours kids have loved these headlamps so far. From helping out with camp chores at night to creating secret hiding places in the house, these have been a huge hit thus far. Super easy to use and love the rechargeable feature so we don’t have to worry about batteries. It’s been fun to see how a simple little tool helps create even more magic while camping."
"We had the originals and loved them for years. However changing batteries was tough. The rechargeable version is awesome, kids can plug em in easily and can now 100% prep & pack themselves without needing me to pry their headlamps open and needing 12 batteries to supply everyone!"
"Changing color mode is awesome for the three year old."
"Put them in bed to read and the headlamp turns off if they forget, perfect 👌"
"I bought 3 of the previous version for my kids because the concept of the diffuser over the light was brilliant. Our kids (and us) loved these but I got so sick of constantly swapping out batteries. On top of that, the battery interface was super touchy and only seemed to work with certain brands of batteries. With how my kids love to leave their lights on they ate up batteries and I spent a small fortune on replacing them. On top of that the headband material was crap and fell apart on all of them. This new model seems to resolve all those issues with a sturdier look and feel to the headband, USB-C charging, and the lockout mode is super nice to keep my youngest from constantly fiddling with the buttons. Another favorite feature is the auto-shut off. Also, the pivoting in both directions is a stroke of genius. The old ones they were constantly wearing upside down. BD seemed to do their research with this new model and nailed it. It's like someone with kids actually used the product and ironed out all the points of friction. There is no comparable product on the market if you're looking for a headlamp for the young ones. Must have for active families with littles."
