Trail Pro Trekking Poles is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, bomb proof, and all-purpose I wanted something that would not only function as trekking poles, but that I could also use as poles when I go out backcountry skiing/splitboarding. I've used these now for one season, and so far I've been very impressed. Very light, but at the same time I don't feel like I have sacrificed in terms of durability. The Flicklocks haven't failed me once -- as strong and reliable as I had hoped they'd be. Changing to the snow baskets was relatively simple once I figured out what I was actually doing. Have been extremely happy with these thus far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for x-country use Used on Sierra High Route from Kings Canyon to Bishop. 72 miles, 51 off trail above 10,000 feet. Quick to adjust, light weight, and were strong on rock, scree, and all types of terrain. Highly recommend these poles. I have been doing Mountain Rescue and mountaineering for over 45 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money, absolutely great poles. These are the first hiking poles I've ever bought and after using them I'm hooked. Not having used them before I looked around and stumbled on Black Diamond by chance. I wanted poles that could collapse and yet were strong enough to hike with for over a month and between 8 and 12hrs a day. I was so impressed with their durability and strength having used them in all types of conditions. On one occasion I even tripped up and the pole literally got caught in-between some rocks and bent right over. I thought the pole would now be out of shape, but no, on inspection it was fine. I tend to use these with the hard rubber pole protectors/covers and I found, doing the distances I was doing, on hard surfaces they lasted for about 2 and a bit weeks. I keep them on even on dirt tracks as I found the grip was better than the diamond tips digging into the ground. The quality of the rubber tips are excellent compared with other brands by the way. The only criticism I've got is that the straps with wear have started to fray a bit at the ends but it's minimal at the moment. I found the grips excellent as well in all conditions even when my hands sweated a lot. Overall they're an average to high priced set of hiking poles and in my opinion very good value.
