Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my poles, very well designed, well balanced and priced I have carpal tunnel syndrom and have used various other poles in the past. The angle of the hand holds is perfect for me. Other poles cause my hands to "go to sleep" after a very short time, but I can hike for hours and hours with no problems with these. I also like the shape of the shafts (elliptical). I have bent 2 other poles (different brands) when the tips have been caught in rocky places, and the elliptic shape of the shafts of these will insure that I will never bend another pole in that manner. I am on my third set of Contour Elliptic poles not because they were damaged or defective, but because I have lost 2 sets in the confusion of group hiking in far from home places. Hope I don't loose another pole or poles as If I do I will certainly buy another set. They are worth every cent I paid for them, but I would rather spend my money on other things. January 14, 2014
