Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Boot Just bought my second pair for my new setup next season. Got my first pair during the 12/13 season and liked the boot a lot. Not much to add on top of my last review, after two seasons of beating on my quadrants there’s a little flex now. Looked into Dynafit, but the optional stiffening tongue drove me to choose BD again. P.S. had to register a new BD account to post this review, lame. August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good all around boot So far so good I've been skiing these boot five days a week for the last month now and I'm pretty satisfied . I haven't done much touring in them but I have been skiing alot at the resort and they done really well. Been skiing everything from bumps to groomers corn and the wet and heavy with vary little powder but I'm sure there fine in that cause I think you could ski in sneakers in the powder and you'd be just fine. Rated 5 out of 5 by Ultimate touring boot This boot strikes the perfect balance between light weight and stiffness so you can tour all day and still charge the gnar. The higher rated flex with the new boot is a noticeable improvement. March 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot This boot fills a great niche. It is stiff enough for the occasional resort day but still light enough to tackle long tours in the back-country. Good fit out of the box even without baking the liners. March 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by All smiles I hesitated to upgrade from my older AT boots, but now I realize I should have pulled the trigger sooner on these. Love 'em! First day out breaking trail and running laps in the local backcountry had me smiling ear to ear. Noticeably light and nimble on the uphill, and charging on the downhill, I couldn't be happier with these boots. Paired these with the Convert skis and the combo has been a game changer for me. Rated 4 out of 5 by Stiff, flexible, lightish with a comfortably wide toebox Love this boot but am I the only one less enchanted with the liner? Straight outta the box they felt thin and cheap. Molding helped some but I worry about it packing out fast. The BOA system is great but I feel like the luxury feel just isn't there for a boot this price. December 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stiff, Light, Amazing Walk Mode Very happy with the quadrant. I have used the Endorphin and Mega rides for back country and this boot slots in perfectly with the lightness of the mega and the stiffness of the Endorphin. The liner has a hinge which helps with touring but makes getting out of the boot a little difficult. Highly recommend. December 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boot The first set of AT boots I've bought and I could not be happier. They're light, durable, and surprisingly stiff. The only problem is the liners pack out super fast. I honestly didn't mind this seeing the boots were very uncomfortable the first few times hiking, but once the liners break-in and form-fit to your feet they're fantastic. The liners will have to be replaced every other season, but for almost $200, depending on your style of skiing and how much you've used your gear, you might as well just buy a new set of boots.
