Rated 5 out of 5 by The best ice screws Simply the best ice screws I have used. Punch into ice easily, screw in smoothly, the express handle makes this easy to do one handed and they rack nice and compact on your harness. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love These! I love everything about these screws: the sizes, ease in placing, the convenience of the handles, the ease in cleaning, and how they nest on my rack (facing toward the back). I've not used any other screws, so I can't offer a comparison. But once I had my first Express, I had to complete the rack. Easy to sharpen, as well. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only Screw I use! BD express ice screws grab quickly when starting a placement. They cut like lasers making placing gear a snap. I think that this is what I like about them most. There is never a doubt in my mind about being able to get a screw placed before the dreaded pump sets in. Two holes comes in handy at anchors. Buy them. January 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good bite, easy action Just learning how to lead on ice, and only have used these on warmer days. If they work just as well on harder ice, then I'll be stoked. January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing ice screws those ice screws or working great , bite the ice and the swivel system is working perfectly. Easy to clean from ice to re-use quickly January 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Express Crews are Amazing!!!! The screws are great and I don't have a single complaint. They are the best innovation to modern day ice climbing and they are a life saver literally. I have 11 screws and plan to order a few more, I currently have 22, 19, 16, 13, and a 10. I know they work because I had a buddy take a 30 foot fall on a 16 and it held solid and I've taken a 20 foot on a 13 with no issues. Make sure you research how to use them or take a class because 90% of the reason they work is knowing how to place them correctly. The handle on them is a life saver and makes placement so fast and effortless compared to the turbo and it's well worth the extra money to get these screws. Good luck to all looking to buy and Climb On!!! December 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great screw I have had a set of these screws for a few years, they start easy and work great. December 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Is there really any other screw than the Express? Having used the express screws reliably for years now, I can say that I would never use another screw. They are so easy to place and clear why would you use anything else? I sharpen the teeth once or twice a season and I'm good to go. It's nice to know that you can place these screws fast when you're on lead. November 12, 2013
