Rated 5 out of 5 by Bright Lights, Big City! Purchased this to use around the house when working at night or to hang when car-camping/hanging out near the fire pit. So far I have been very pleased with my purchase. Pros: Not terribly heavy. If I was doing a multi-day hiking trip, I doubt I would carry this with me, but that isn't what I purchased this for. The collapsible feature makes it easy to stow away. The light is incredibly bright and has an impressive radius. The battery indication light is definitely a nice touch. It lets me know if I should carry extra batteries with me or not. Cons: When carrying the lamp, rather than hanging it up, you have to sort of angle it to get decent light radius, as most of the light is reflected at a downward angle. You also don't take advantage of the full light radius by simply sitting it on a table...it really needs hung up, or placed higher than waist level. Overall, it definitely does well for what I need. If I am walking in the woods with my dog at night, the light radius (when tilted a bit) is large enough that I can generally track where my dog is as he frolics. For future products, I'm curious if a little kickstand on the bottom could possibly extend the light radius in a certain direction, for situations where maybe it is placed on the ground or on a low table. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome lantern This is an awesome lantern. I use rechargeable D-size batteries and it works great. Super bright and easily lasts for a 2 week camping trip on one charge. May 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Powerhouse Perfect for mixing margaritas in the moonlight. Awesome camp light, perfect for the gourmet camp chef. The Titan is one of those things we didn't think we needed but now can't do without. November 17, 2013
