Rated 3 out of 5 by Owen from short on ease of use The Ember is close to being super rad. My thoughts: - it's a bit heavy. Though... it is a battery pack. Not sure the fancy aluminum twisty thing contributes to that much, or that it's necessary either. + it's a GREAT idea. I'm wading into the strategy of using my iPhone + Gaia more, so having more battery is cool. - i hate capacitive buttons (this is the main reason for 3 stars...). And it really doesn't make sense for something that you're supposed to be able to FEEL out in the dark. + good size! + love the lock mode + nice 'biner loop

Rated 5 out of 5 by Krystn from So happy with this product! I searched multiple versions of a battery extender for my iPhone 6. This product had great reviews and a great price. I was thrilled when I received it how quickly the order was processed, how user friendly it was and how well it worked. It easily charged my phone again to full battery. I have used it while out and about in town, as well as while camping as an emergency power supply. The flashlight is a great feature and I love how it dims. I haven't had a single issue with this product and would recommend this to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julien from Mostly pretty good! I want to start by saying I completely agree with everything Owen said below. Cons: A little heavy, dont love the touch sensitive buttons, I also think that the outer shell feels kind of flimsy in relation to the inner body. it sort of rattles and makes it feel like its going to break. Otherwise I love it! It keeps my whatever charged a lot longer, and the settings work well. I think a small redesign could easily make it a must have. Bonus Idea! BD, you should make a regular size Moji thats rechargable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kyle from Mostly great, couple little things Like this a lot overall. Seems durable, the light (which I almost never use) is bright and decently focused, the twist feature is clever. The two things I don't like as much are I wish it came with a longer cord (luckily I had one), and the "button" to turn the flashlight on and off is waaaay too sensitive. The slightest brush against any exposed skin or clothing and the light is turning on and off. I think a real button would be better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Outside Pilot from Great idea, almost perfect Love this light/battery charger combo, I've had it for about 2 years now and it is still holding up well for the most part with weekly use. Will fully charge my iPhone 7 with plenty of power left over. The pluses other reviews have covered and I agree. I'll cover my few nits/ideas for future improvement. - the on/off/dimmer can be a tad sensitive - the beam isn't adjustable (see below) - lately it seems to turn off on its own at times in flashlight mode Perhaps a slightly more rugged model with either greater capacity/lumens or beam control would be awesome. I'm an airline pilot so during my exterior inspections at night a little more reach on the flashlight beam would be great. Especially as I move on to my next (bigger) jet. I'll probably have to go away from this light if there isn't a different one offered down the road for that purpose. Otherwise for general travel and backcountry recharges this thing is near perfection. Keep up the good work BD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigskyrunner from a great piece of kit! I purchased one of these last year for an adventure race mainly as a charger for my iphone that I rely heavily on for navigation (and pictures, notes, etc), but figured it would be nice to have a backup light as well. I've found this to be a great addition to pack for multi-day trips. It will fully charge and iphone6 with juice to spare. It's not a fast charge, takes a little over three hours from a near dead iphone to full. There still is enough juice in the light to run over an hour and a half at high after fully charging an iphone6. The lamp has good output with a nice light- it's fully adjustable as far as output as well. The weight of a similar output charger is a little lighter, but not much- considering you're getting a very capable backup light (or dual light as I often do) at the same time, it's an easy choice. In addition to adding one in my pack for multi-day trips, I keep one in my truck and one my wife's car. A great dual use piece of kit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by bryant from Clever Strengths: + Twisting to select modes (e.g. charging, lock) is quite fun + Appears good quality Room for improvement: - 'swipe activated' on/off button doesn't work with normal gloves - Barely enough tactile feedback to find the business end and buttons in total darkness

Rated 5 out of 5 by Walt from Great charging accessory Got this when I was headed to the bugs, so I had a full charge once I got out. I like that it can get 2 charges into a phone about, I have an iPhone 6. Also, the loop is great, as well as the mode. Just nice design as well, it looks good. I mean c'mon.
