Rated 4 out of 5 by Nearly Perfect The only fault I can find with this harness is the small haul loop. I have an older BD harness with a slightly larger loop that makes clipping/unclipping extra gear, water bottles, shoes, gloves, etc. SO much easier. The small loop just makes this process a little awkward - hopefully the next iteration includes a larger loop. January 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Super Versatile What a great little harness! Purchased to add to my fleet of harnesses for guiding ice routes in New Hampshire. I switched away from the company with a fossilized bird as it's icon and over to BD. Cost per dollar is just far better. The gear loops are a great size and love the little angle they stick out at on the bottom. Clutch for clipping gear on the fly when you have layers of clothing on. Also love the fact that there are four places to put BD ice clippers instead of three offset ones on the old A320 harnesses. Relatively light weight and comfortable. Great color as well. Thanks again for a great product! I've only given it four stars to start as I'd like to have the entire season under the belt (no pun intended) before giving it a five. January 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice harness Use it primarily for ice, mixed, dry-tooling. Comfy and fits great. Buckles are bomber, but a little hard to loosen when taking the harness off with big gloves when it's COLD. While I like the gear loop and ice clipper placements, I would like to see the gear loops a little bigger or more flared out from the harness for easier racking. It's my choice for an all-around harness. January 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Aspect Harness is an all-round great harness. I've had this harness for more than 6 months now and its great for gym climbing as well as outdoor climbing. Believe me when I say some of the falls taken on this harness were pretty big and yet the harness kept me snug and comfortable. If you are thinking about getting this harness, I encourage you to. Rated 4 out of 5 by More appropriate for layered legs The leg loops really don't have enough padding for use in the summer months, but it's a great for the other 3 seasons. Lightweight and versatile to accommodate plenty of gear, especially with ice clippers. Like the haul loop and the webbing ends that won't slip out. October 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by The features I like the best is the extra gear loops on the back. This allows for a water bottle and approach shoes. The Aspect Harness is great. I like that it has extra gear loops on the back side. This allows for a water bottle and shoes to be out of your way. However I would like to see more padding. Or start making other harnesses with the extra gear loops. But I use it in all seasons. I thought about the big gun for long routes but it just seams a little much. So I chose the Aspect. I guide in the winter time at Silverton Mountain and in Alaska Heli guiding. So I will use it in AK this up and coming winter. Less bulk for winter is great. September 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by More than adequate all-arounder A great all-around harness, and that's what I was hoping for. While I didn't quite hit the sport climbs in Rodellar it performs great during the winter over layers for ice climbing, as well as sunny splitters or while baking at Smith Rock in the summer. Ice clipper spots thoughtfully located (I can get away with a small or medium, but purchased a medium thinking about layering and fit over said layers, to keep ice clippers where they need to be I have to use the slot in front of both gear loops on my left side, minor inconvenience, if I purchased a small it might have allowed the use of both clipper spots between the gear loops on either side. I'm a 30" waist and as I said, a small or medium fits (medium almost completely cinched tight). March 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Harness but runs small. Great all around harness but runs small. I have a 33in waist so I ordered the large but the harness didn't fit right. Tons of gear loops and comfy to hang in. March 5, 2014
