I feel that these quickdraws are a great buy. They aren't too heavy but are not super light ( I'm a big guy so it doesn't bother me). And like everything else BD that I have they work really well even after taking a beating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt So far, really good!
I have only used these a couple of times only for sport climbing so far, but they seem like really excellent draws. They are not the lightest draws around by any means. Probably I would only take wire gates on a long alpine mission, but I got them hoping the 'biners might be more durable than an ultralight model. I expect to replace the dog bones a couple time before the 'biners themselves notch out.
I love the key lock design and am getting to the point where I won't get any other type of 'biner. The gate has very 'snappy' action that I guess will reduce gate flutter as much as any non wire gate 'biner can. The bent gate is definitely an aid to clipping and the smooth finish seems to reduce rope drag.
Seems comparable to a Petzl Spirit, but less expensive. I definitely would recommend these draws.

by Josh A true performer!
I bought the Positron series because I needed some QD's that I could beat up and rely on--mainly due to their heavier construction. I weigh in at 227lbs, so I can't really offer a "How does the weight feel", because I don't shy at the chance to fill my rack, seeing as I place and place often.
The Positron series aren't tipping any scales at all, and I'd rather have a biner with a few more grams--feels like I've actually got something in my hand, and I like feeling and hearing that audible 'snap' once placed.
The sewn joiner is very nice, solid, and rigid on the rope side for ease of clipping in when balancing on a dime with hope and aspirations fueling your every move.
I can't find one thing wrong with the series, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who prefers a more meaty, device!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Greg Quality and feel
I chose the Positron in the shop because the clipping felt 'right'. It turned out out that the feel remains just as good at the crag, even when standing in an awkward position. Both the bolt and rope carabiners are easy to open and give the right amount of pressure on the tip of the fingers to know when they're positively closed.
The distinct 'clic' of the rope biner is also a great indication for the belayer that the rope is secure.
After 1 year of use (100+ climbing sessions) i can report that the quality is excellent:
. bolt-end biner: excellent shape. The positron are my first binners showing so little wear at the interface with the bolts.
. sling: almost as new after a year
. rope-end binner: that's where most wear shows. The binners are now worn through the sickness of the anodising. The non-anodised aluminium appears on a 7x7mm patch, but in a smooth way that doesn't not seem to compromise the structural integrity of the binner.
. the springs loading the gates on the biners still feel righ after a year
Overall: excellent !

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adam A smooth quick clip.
I have tried many different types of draws and have decided that the Positron is my favorite, especially for hard, pumpy sport routes. The solid gates make this draw easy and smooth when clipping. Gate weight makes no difference when sport climbing. Go with the Positron!
