Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and balanced These are my 2nd pair of crampons i have ever owned. Going from a second-hand pair of 90's 20-pt spikes to these, I think they are great. These are light, strong, and provide good purchase on the ice. Highly recommended. August 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This crampon significantly improved my climbing! After climbing with dual point crampons for many years, I must say that the Black Diamond Stinger Crampon has completely changed my perception of what is possible in climbing ice! These crampons are lightweight, precise, and make me feel like a superhero!...or maybe I've just had a breakthrough in climbing ice??? Regardless, if you try them, you will be psyched! Rated 5 out of 5 by Stellar! My new go-to crampons. With the security for solo laps on the Great White Icicle and the precision for mixed routes in Ouray, these mono-points are rock solid. And, the replaceable front point means that I'll be climbing on these for years to come. January 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazing Mixed and Steep Ice Crampon I love these crampons for ice and mixed climbing. The are light, sharp and technical. The only reason I am rating them with four stars is because the toe bails don't fit well on my boots (but that is universal for all the BD toe bails on my boots). I have never seen this to be a problem on boots larger than a woman's 7.5 or so. I would highly suggest them despite that and even if you have small feet. January 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Crampon for Steep Ice This is the best crampon for steep ice i've ever used. I've had Cyborgs and Sabertooths and Givel Rambo 2s... the Stinger is hands down the best. A no frills, basic semi rigid design cuts down on weight but not function. It's confidence inspiring to look down and kick knowing they're going to stick! December 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best of the lot These are the best crampons BD makes, which means they are the best out there. I used to use mono points, but they went out of favor. I was glad to see them back. They climb awesome on steep ice and are awesome in mixed terrain. The steel is holds its sharpness for a long, long time. These are my choice for all technical climbing from ice up Hyalite to the Karakorum. June 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ever This is the best crampon I have ever had. It fits the front of my boots perfectly, providing zero wiggle room in the bail. I feel the crampon helps to make my footwork even more precise. May 20, 2013
