Fritschi-Swiss Diamir Ski Crampon is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add some bite to your skin traction I bought these for a ski descent of Mt Rainier and it allowed me to keep my skis on my feet and off my backpack for much of the time. You can also really push how aggressive your track is with this added traction. Even for normal "cross country" skinning where there is some kick and glide, I didn't find the crampons to be a drag. I believe these things will stay on my feet while at home in the Wasatch after the amazing traction I experienced on Rainier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get a Grip Used a borrowed pair and they were lifesavers on hard icy crust so I bought a pair for this season. Their main purpose is preventing sideways slippage while the skin provides forward traction and they were extremely effective. They are long enough to give lots of bite even with the heel on the first riser but they lift clear of the snow and don't drag when stepping forward.
