This season we’ve updated some of our favorite footwear styles with an eye toward more sustainable, low-impact materials. For gym commutes, mellow crag approaches and everyday, on-the-move comfort, our redesigned Session 2 and Circuit 2 feature fresh style with uppers, liners and footbeds made with sustainable and recycled materials.
For more technical approaches and lightweight mountain adventures, the Mission LT 2 maintains the same burly yet lightweight construction while also incorporating both sustainable and recycled content throughout. All three styles also feature an innovative, algae-based BLOOM™ EVA midsole that provides ample cushion while helping to improve water ecosystem health.
Our redesigned Mission LT 2, Session 2 and Circuit 2 shoes all feature an innovative BLOOM™ algae-based EVA foam midsole. BLOOM removes over-abundant algae from aquatic ecosystems and turns it into a renewable material that replaces fossil fuel-based ingredients. This transformative process simultaneously helps to clean and re-oxygenate water systems while preventing carbon emissions associated with decomposition.
