This year BD has decided to support EOCA, the European Outdoor Conservation Association, who represents a group of businesses working within the European outdoor sector, to collectively raise money to put into vital conservation projects around the world. The theme for this year is Invest in our Planet!

Our Vision: The outdoor sector and the millions of people who enjoy the great outdoors are active champions for the conservation of nature and wild places.
In June 2006, the European Outdoor Conservation Association (formerly the EOG Association for Conservation) was created following a desire by the Outdoor Industry to collectively ‘put something back’ into the environment that it cared about so passionately - as well as depended on for its livelihood.
There are currently over 150 members of this 'not-for profit' Association, stretching from Norway to Spain and from the UK across to the Czech Republic. As a charitable organisation directly funding specific projects, the association wants to show that the European outdoor industry is committed to putting something back into the environment, and all working together a real difference can be made.
