Rated 5 out of 5 by Great skins Mohair skins are as advertised, supple, easy to handle, and lightweight, the glide you get is fantastic and the grip is really good to. You would be suprised how well they do glide. The only drawback I have found is that in warm conditions they do get a bit wet and tend to freeze, ice up, this can be minimized by applying wax. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good skins but glue is a little bit too tenacious. I don't like trimmed skins so I was happy to find that there is enough selection in widths available to choose ones that are 4mm-5mm narrower than my skis. They climb well and the glide is OK but the glue is way too strong. I don't like messing around with cheat sheets, so separating skins glue side to glue side is a workout. They do stick to the Skis though! I've used them a 1/2 dozen days so far and think it's getting easier to separate them. Either that or I'm getting stronger! January 9, 2014
