Just used these for the first time and summited a small peek near my house and the worked awesome. The how to video is great and I had no issues cutting them and fitting them to my skis with little effort. Climbed up about 1500 feet of vertical gain and was really impressed how well they grip the snow and the ice conditions I was faced with. Great skins to add to your winter fun, enjoy and Climb On!

So, I like these skins for a lot of reasons:
-Easy to size and cut
-Soft and supple, folds well and stores in my jacket easily
-Tip and tail attachments work great
-They do glide very well and grip is perfect
-Finally, a very cool design, I like the BDemon or whatever...
Honestly, I have gone through several pairs of skins over the years and the Glidelite Mohair Mix skins are my "go to" tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark These are great skins.
Over the years I've used many different types of skins and from a number of different manufacturers. I feel that the current BD Mohair Mix skins are the best of the lot. They glide and grip well and (Mind you, this is very subjective.) I feel that the glue composition has pretty much been nailed; good adhesion and good release I'd also add that they are very easy to cut and set up for your skis. A great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kevin Great skins!
In the 2-3 years of using these 50-100 days per year, I have been very pleased with the durability and balance of climbing and gliding ability! I find they have significantly better glide characteristics than nylon while only giving up the tinyest bit of climb ability. They also fold up a tiny bit better than the nylon, especially at first when the nylon skins are more stiff.
I do recommend and will buy again.

I could tell how light they were right away. The uphill traction has been excellent. I like the lever action of the tail attachment. I have skis without a notch for the tail attachment but the lever holds perfectly anyway. I used to prefer skins with no tail attachment at all (but have also been satisfied with one other brand of tail attachment).
I had never had a mohair or mohair blend skin before and I had hoped for miracles in gliding that have not yet become apparent to me. (I have had pretty cold snow so far).
Overall though, these are my favorite skins that I've ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aric Works well.
Grips similar to ascension skins without the bulk. These skins seem like half the weight. I was a bit concerned about what appears to be shorter nap but they hold their own and didn't slip except on very icy skin tracks. If you're putting in a new track, they stick like glue.

Excellent traction and glide and they roll up very nicely.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Seth Good weight/packability, less than ideal traction
I bought these skins for a lightweight mountaineering setup. In hindsight this might have been a mistake. Although they are light and pack really well, there is a noticeable decrease in traction on steeper, slicker skin tracks…common conditions found on steeper spring ascents.
