Description

Our premier 4-buckle freetouring boot, the Black Diamond Quadrant defies convention by bringing skiing performance and stiffness previously reserved for freeride boots to the touring weight range. Designed with technical mountains like La Grave in mind, where long climbs lead to no-fall-zone skiing, this boot matches touring comfort and minimal weight with the power and performance to drive big, 95 mm-plus waisted skis in high-consequence terrain. Thanks to its patent-pending Pivoting Cuff Technology, the Quadrant has introduced a level of performance that's never before been possible in a lightweight boot.

  • Lightweight (1.72 kg each) alpine touring boot with 4 buckles for maximum stiffness
  • Triax Pivot Frame with Flex 120 and unmatched 40° of resistance-free touring motion
  • Thermoformable Efficient Fit AT Liner with lightweight Boa closure system
  • Rockered, rubber outsole with integrated tech inserts provides dramatic grip and durability

Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Performance I had different back country ski boot and most of the were soft and I had difficulty for high performance skiing but skiing with this boot is like regular ski boot. It needed some adjustment(boot fitting) which I did by local ski shop and only issue I have is not enough room on on top of the toe and press my toe down it is no room for adjustment. Rated 5 out of 5 by So far it has been great! The Quadrant ski boot (2011) has been a great addition to my set-up. I feel more control and power when I ski with them and the walking feature is very convenient. I have yet to try them with my skins, however I am not worried that they will perform to my expectations. They did take a decent amount of time to break-in and were a little painful at first (as expected) however once you get over that bump it is fresh pow from there January 8, 2014
