Bringing year-round functionality to our All-Around Series harnesses, the Black Diamond Momentum 3S harness handles everything from mid-week gym sessions to alpine trad climbs. Speed Adjust buckles on the waistbelt and leg loops accommodate changing layers throughout the seasons and help you dial in the perfect fit, while four gear loops hold enough draws and pro for any route on your ticklist. We also built the Momentum 3S with Dual Core Construction, which uses two bands of thin webbing and an OpenAir foam insert in the waistbelt for affordable support and breathability without pressure points.

  • Pre-threaded Speed Adjust buckles on waistbelt and leg loops
  • Bullhorn-shaped OpenAir waistbelt built using Dual Core Construction
  • Adjustable, releasable elastic rear riser
  • 4 pressure-molded gear loops
  • 12 kN-rated haul loop

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice and light, does what I need it to I got this on sale, and am quite pleased. The waist breathes very well, the leg loops can twist a bit with the keeper straps, but are easily redirected. And the gear loops are big enough for the gear I need to carry. This is my second BD harness with the other being the Xenos that I use for ice climbing. March 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by fantastic product for a great price! This product is everything i was hoping for and more. I got great value for my money and it serves as a great first harness. Its very comfortable! March 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good features, bad keeper straps The harness is very well built and easy to use buckles. The keeper strap attachments are very hard to use. For a harness with non-sewn leg loops it is very difficult to put on your own keeper straps. It should have more of a buckle design rather than a hook and elastic. Overall, great performance!
