HOODWIRE TECHNOLOGY

HOODWIRE TECHNOLOGY

HoodWire Technology brings keylock functionality to a wiregate carabiner and is now available on our legendary, redesigned Oz carabiner. Its unique, stainless steel wire hood is a simple, strong design that won’t snag when unclipping. The wire hood doesn’t trap debris that could cause an open-gate failure, and protects the nose from wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Do the math... Super light + matching colors + no-snag hood + big enough for my big hands = perfect biners for racking cams August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light, no-snag, color-coded Love these. Bought a pack for my C4s and love them so much, I bought another for my small cams. April 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great visual clue They make finding the right cam a bit quicker. Which for me, is great! November 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME I love these things. I bought this rackpack to go with my brand new double rack of BD Camalots and quickly thought "I should have bought the OZ Rackpack." I told myself to use the Hoodwires on the cams as that's my my quickdraws and extendable runners are rigged with. After a good bit of use in NM, CO and OR I decided to lighten my rack with the OZ...turns out that I don't notice much and either way I'm just happy to have the functionality of the hood. Bottom line: These biners are so easy to use and they don't snag on webbing, slings, nuts, or anything else. I hate using hoodless biners now...hate them. I LOVE THESE! October 10, 2013
